New British Horse Society Development Officer for Southern
Region
The British Horse Society (BHS) is pleased to introduce Andrea
Jackman as the new BHS Development Officer (DO) for the Southern
region. Andrea joins The Society from a management consultancy
where she has worked for 17 years. Andrea has ridden since
the age of four, and delightfully describes herself as a "happy
hacker".
Up until recently one BHS Development Officer looked after
the Southern & South West region. In order to provide
a better service to members, and reduce the enormous workload
this area represented, the BHS appointed a new DO to look
after the Southern region, which is made up of the counties
of Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, Hampshire and
the Isle of Wight.
Andrea, who has been a member of her local BHS Committee
for 14 years, said "I am really pleased to be joining
the BHS as a full time member of staff. I am looking forward
to meeting the committees in my region, and working for every
horse and rider in Southern England."
