Great
Britain take 5 finals places: The British women's

Team Finals, along with a further 4 Senior apparatus finals.
The flu ravaged squad made 5th place in qualifications and
join the best in Europe in the Team finals.
Romania are 5 points clear at the top, demonstrating their
intention to be Champions.
Beth Tweddle qualified for Bars and Floor. Beckie Downie
qualified for Bars and Vault.
National Coach, Colin Still said afterwards: "Considering
the way the flu hit the girls after they arrived they did
a great job. To qualify 5th and show all the promise of a
fully fit team that could stretch as far as the medals; a
fantastic result".
Laura Jones is reserve for Beam and Marissa King reserve
for Vault.
Beckie Downie joins the best in Europe and is upbeat about
the challenge: "I was feeling so bad when I arrived that
I lost a days training. I shortened my Bars routine for the
qualifications, but I hope to be back feeling great with a
full exercise on Sunday."
