The British Gymnastics community congratulates Beth Tweddle
and celebrates with Coach Amanda Kirby Britain's first Artistic
World Champion.
After many years of building the best Asymmetric Bars routine
in the World and gaining a superb reputation as a bars specialist
AND a great all arounder Beth Tweddle has proved that she
is a WORLD CHAMPION.
The Bars final was awash with excellence but Beth and coach
Amanda have crafted an exercise that the judges found little
reason to fault.
Today Beth is Champion of the World. Tomorrow she begins
the long road to Beijing and the Olympic title.
