Three Brits head for Brazil.
British Gymnastics are delighted to announce that we will
now be sending three gymnasts to Sao Paulo (BRA) for the World
Cup Final.
Louis Smith and Imogen Cairns have been added to the bill
for the season ending World Cup Final and will be joining
Beth Tweddle and a selection of the world best gymnasts in
Brazil for the event taking pace December 16th and 17th.
Beth will now compete on the A. Bars and the Floor, Imogen
will compete on Vault and Louis on Pommels.
The competition features most of the world’s greatest
gymnasts with only the USA Team not competing.
Having three gymnasts at the World Cup final is further proof
that this has been a truly fantastic year for British Artistic
Gymnastics. With the Commonwealth Games, European Championships
and World Championships taking place in 2006, the British
gymnasts have performed beyond expectation taking numerous
medals in all three major Championships.
To finish with success in Sao Paulo would be a great end
to a great year.
