Young British Acrobats sweep the Floor in Greece
The British Delegation in Thessaloniki (GRE) who are taking
part in the First European Age Groups Championships and the
European Championships for Seniors and Juniors, are celebrating
the fantastic success achieved by our 11-16 years old in the
opening stage of the event.
They won medals in the Age Group Championships in each and
every one of the five disciplines in Acrobatic Gymnastics
- three of which are Gold and two Silver medals. Thus, in
the unofficial placement by nation, Great Britain came first,
ahead of countries with greater traditions in Gymnastics,
such as Russia, Poland, France, Belgium, Portugal and others.
