The second day of testing was characterized in fact by very
high temperatures in the morning (with the asphalt temperature
reaching 53°C ) and heavy rain in the afternoon.

After yesterday´s washout, that spoiled a whole day
of work, the sunny sky and the dry track allowed a far more
productive session today, third and last day of this Australian
test session.

1st Feb - Fortuna - THE RAIN SPOILS THE SECOND DAY OF TESTING
AT PHILLIP ISLAND.
Marco Melandri made only 19 laps. He went on track to check
the feeling of the bike on wet conditions. He found immediately
a good feeling and was satisfied of the sensations on the
new RC211V with rain tyres.
