completed the four rounds with a 2 shot advantage over second
placed Edouard Espana of France. The highlight of the four
day event for Goddard must have been his 2nd round of 63 which
was the joint lowest return of the tournament and helped secure
the Nations Cup win by an impressive 4 shots.
This is the second recent victory for England in the Chiberta
Grand Prix, in 2004 England International James Crampton also
won the event. Goddard can add this victory to his other trophies
including the McEvoy Trophy, the Sir Henry Cooper Junior Masters
and the South East Junior Championship which he won in 2006.
Miles Mackman, from Broome Manor finished in 6th place and
Sam Hutsby, from Liphook, finished in 30th place.
