Gary Wolstenholme in final four!
Gary
Wolstenholme, England's most experienced amateur golfer, has
secured another win in Australia to take him through to the
final four of the New South Wales Amateur Championship.
In the quarter finals today, Friday, Wolstenholme (pictured

Mitchell Brown and finished with a three and two victory.
In the 36 hole match Wolstenholme was five holes ahead at
lunch but Brown fought hard and was only two holes down with
thirteen to play. But it was the outstanding putting of the
Englishman that kept him on top all day and he won the match
by sinking a fabulous birdie on the 34th hole of the match.
Australian Richard Gallichan will tee off against Wolstenholme
at 8.15am on Saturday to decide the line up for the final
on Sunday, which has the chance to be an all British affair.
Scott Jamieson of Scotland came through his quarter final
tie and will play local favourite and NSW Medal winner Won
Joon Lee, who has the advantage of playing on his home course
in his semi final draw.
