30th July - WARING CROWNED ENGLISH CHAMPION
Paul Waring is the English Amateur champion. He won the title
in front of his own members at his own club of Bromborough
when he defeated Cheshire county colleague Steven Capper 3
and 2 in the 36 hole final.
