SPAIN BRING AN END TO ENGLAND’S WINNING RECORD

England lost their unbeaten record against Spain when they went down 15.5 - 8.5 in the biennial match between the two nations at Puerta de Hierro Golf Club in Madrid.

In the opening series of foursomes matches, which they won 3-1, England did come out on top, however the Spanish then took control of the match. Gary Wolstenholme, with three points from four matches, maintained his impressive international record.
