FREE GOLF COACHING DRIVING INTO GOLF CLUBS AND CITY CENTRES
The English Golf Union & English Ladies’ Golf Association’s
Free Golf Coaching for Beginners campaign is now well underway,
with many golfing facilities across England offering free
coaching sessions to beginners.
Any affiliated golf clubs that would like to benefit from
increased lesson sales and promotion within their local community
are urged to sign up to the campaign and receive the £200
grant aid which is available.
Many golf clubs may already be running their own specific
initiatives as part of their drive for membership and they
can also apply for funding through the Free Golf Coaching
campaign.

To coincide with the Free Golf Coaching sessions that are
taking place in golfing facilities, the EGU and ELGA with
the support of Swingtech, is pleased to announce that taster
sessions will also be available in city centre locations,
such as Birmingham, Leeds and Peterborough.

Free Golf Coaching for beginners is just one of several initiatives
within the ‘Get into Golf’ structure developed
by the EGU and ELGA.
