COURSE OWNERS & CHAIR OF GREEN HEAD FOR WOODHALL SPA
Later this spring the EGU will be inviting Chair of Green
and Golf Course Owners to a seminar covering aspects of course
and general management. The new event organised by Golf Services,
is on 27& 28 May at the National Golf Centre Woodhall

presenting on their specialist subjects. Among the well known
names taking part are Golf Course Architect -Simon Gidman,
Chairman of BIGGA- Andy Campbell and Agronomist Andy Cole.
The aims of the programme are:
To look at the role the Chair of Green/ Course Owner in relation
to the Course Manager or Head Greenkeeper.
To update delegates on the latest developments/issues in
Greenkeeper Training, Health & Safety and Climate Change.
To sensibly debate often-controversial subjects – Tree
Management, Course Remodelling, Green Speeds.

overnight accommodation and an option to play golf after the
seminar. Invitations have been sent to all affiliated clubs
and places will be allocated on a first come first served
