The English Golf Union is holding a referendum among its
affiliated clubs over the introduction of a mandated National
Computerised Handicapping System.

Jamie Moul (Stoke by Nayland) and Sam Osborne (Wentworth),
both promising youngsters on the national scene, have been
selected to represent England in the annual Chiberta Grand
Prix in France next month.

England Elite Squad member Gary Wolstenholme (Kilworth Springs
GC) added the Scottish stroke play title at the weekend to
the Amateur Championship title he won last week at Royal Troon.

16th June - FISHER AND PARKER COMPETE IN EUROPEAN YOUNG
MASTERS
Oliver Fisher (West Essex) and Ben Parker (Gut Waldhof) will
represent the English Golf Union in the annual 54-hole European
Young Masters tournament at Augsburg in Germany on 24-26 July.
The non-travelling reserve is Jake Amos (Birstall).

England will field three new caps for the annual under-16
international with Italy that precedes the Under-16 McGregor
Trophy at Rotherham Golf Club, Yorkshire, on 1 July.

Matthew Baldwin (Hesketh), the current under-16 champion,
and McEvoy Trophy winner Tommy Hunter (Ilford) have been included
