Free Golf Coaching - 'A huge hit in Birmingham and now driving
into Nottingham'
In an effort to open up more golfing opportunities the English
Golf Union and English Ladies' Golf Association have developed
several initiatives to help you get into golf, including FREE
GOLF COACHING for BEGINNERS.
Between 29th and 31st May, Free Golf Coaching took place
in Birmingham city centre with the support of Swingtech and
local PGA Professionals. Free golf lessons were offered to
all, regardless of age, gender or background between 10am
and 6pm and all participants involved were given information
on a number of initiatives aimed at sustaining their interest
in golf.
To follow up the success of the Birmingham campaign, the
EGU and Swingtech will be driving into Market Square in Nottingham
City Centre between the 8th and 10th July.
Commenting on the forthcoming days, Richard Flint, EGU Golf
Development Manager said: "We hope that the city centre
coaching days continue to be successful in reaching out into
the community and making golf more accessible".
As well as distributing information, the EGU has also offered
golfing facilities in Nottinghamshire the opportunity to come
along and make people aware of any promotions/offers that
are available for beginners.
