Daniel Denison and Grant Slater, joint winners of the Carris
Trophy at Burnham and Berrow last week, and third-placed Alex
MacGregor have been named in the England squad for the Boys
Home Internationals at Royal St David's, Harlech, Wales, on
5-7 August.

29th July - HARRIS AND LEGG TO CONTEST ST. MELLION TROPHY
The English Golf Union has accepted an invitation to send
two players, Geoff Harris (Reading) and Giles Legg (Dudsbury),
to compete for the St. Mellion International Trophy being
played over the Jack Nicklaus Course at St. Mellion on 5-7
August.

England finished fifth in the European Boys Team Championships
held at the Astoria Golf Club near Karlovy Vary in the Czech
Republic last week.

11th July - SILVER FOR ENGLAND
England won the silver medal at the European Men's Team Championships
in Holland on Saturday. Appearing in their 13th final at the
Royal Hague Golf Club, England lost 5-2 to Spain who lifted
the title for the second time.
