Ferrari Show at Hockenheim, in run up to Mugello Finals
The European series of the Ferrari Challenge Pirelli Trophy
and the Shell Ferrari Historic Challenge will share the stage
this weekend at Germany’s Hockenheim circuit, in both
cases for the final round on the calendar prior to coming
together again for the 2007 Ferrari World Finals, at the Mugello
Circuit, from 24 to 28 October. As usual, the Tuscan track
will host events for all activities of the Corse Clienti department
of Maranello, as well as the traditional demonstration from
Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro on the main day of the event.
On the eve of the German round, which also features a demonstration
from the single seaters prepared by F1 Clienti, the classification
in the Ferrari Challenge Pirelli Trophy, for the F430 cars,
is headed by Italy’s Max Blancardi (team Motor/Malucelli,)
with the Monegasque driver Philippe Prette (Baron Service)
at the top of the gentlemen drivers table in the Shell Cup.
There are over forty four-wheeled historic beauties entered
in the fourth round of this season’s Shell Ferrari Historic
Challenge.
The event gets underway tomorrow, Friday 21st September,
with the initial free practice and qualifying sessions.
