Testing at the Sepang circuit

30th March 2007
Maranello, 30th March
Circuit: Sepang International Circuit, Sakhir – 5.543 km
Driver: Felipe Massa
Car: F2007
Weather: air temperature 27/34 °C, track temperature 30/43 °C. Sunny in the morning, then rain in the early afternoon and finally sunny again.

This afternoon saw the fourth day of testing come to an end for the ten Formula 1 teams taking part at the Sepang circuit, that hosts the Malaysian Grand Prix on 8 April.

Today, the sun only stayed out until the early afternoon, when a shower kept the track wet until shortly after four o’clock. Felipe Massa continued with preparation work for next week’s race, trying out various different settings on the car, as well as evaluating some new components and electrics.

The day was entirely trouble-free for the Scuderia and its summary in figures is as follows: 73 laps, the quickest in a time of 1.35.808.
