Testing at the Vallelunga circuit 24th January 2007

Maranello, 24th January

Circuit: Autodromo "Piero Taruffi" di Vallelunga – 4.085 km

Drivers: Felipe Massa and Kimi Raikkonen

Cars: F2007 and 248 F1

Weather: air temperature 5/11 °C, track 8/14 °C. Overcast, rain at times.

Second day of testing this week for Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro, working again today at the Vallelunga circuit, north of Rome, with Felipe Massa and Kimi Raikkonen.

The day was affected by bad weather, with violent rain showers and occasional hail. Therefore it did not prove possible to complete the planned work programme (development of the F2007 for Felipe and learning about the 248 F1 for Kimi.) As a result, the team has decided to extend this session to Friday 26th January.

The day in figures is as follows: 31 laps for Felipe (best time 1’18’’767,) 20 for Kimi (1’22’’299.)

Testing therefore continues at this circuit tomorrow, with Massa and Raikkonen again on track.
