Testing at the Vallelunga circuit 23rd January 2007 Maranello, 23rd January

Circuit: Autodromo "Piero Taruffi" di Vallelunga – 4.085 km

Drivers: Felipe Massa and Kimi Raikkonen

Cars: F2007 and 248 F1

Weather: air temperature 15/16 °C, track 15 °C. Overcast, occasional rain, windy.

First day of testing this week for Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro, working as from today at Vallelunga’s “Piero Taruffi” circuit.

Today Kimi Raikkonen and Felipe Massa took to the track and for the Finn this marked his debut at the wheel of a Ferrari Formula 1 car, as he drove the 248 F1, while his Brazilian team-mate was entrusted with the F2007.

The day’s technical programme comprised of Kimi getting to know the car, while Felipe concentrated on development of the new car.

The day in figures is as follows: 74 laps for Felipe (best time 1’14’’493) and 39 for Kimi (1’15’’226.)

Massa and Raikkonen continue testing at this circuit tomorrow.
