Testing at the Jerez circuit 13th December 2006

Maranello, 13th December
Circuit: Jerez circuit – 4.423 km
Drivers: Luca Badoer and Felipe Massa
Cars: 248 F1
Weather: air temperature 9/17 °C, track temperature 9/21 °C. Clear skies, with a few clouds in the late afternoon.

First day of testing this week for Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro, working as from today at the Jerez de la Frontera circuit, in southern Spain.

The work programme for the week reprises that of the previous two test sessions, carried out at Barcelona and at this same circuit: development of the new gearbox and mechanical components, adapting the car to the new tyres and engine reliability. Driving the two 248 F1 were Felipe Massa and Luca Badoer.

The day in figures is as follows: 75 laps for Felipe (best time 1.20.143) and 78 for Luca (1.19.907.)
Testing continues at this circuit tomorrow, again with Badoer and Massa on track.
