Testing at the Vallelunga circuit

Maranello, 5th April
Circuit: Autodromo di Vallelunga - (4.085 km)

Drivers: Luca Badoer and Michael Schumacher
Cars: F2004 and 248 F1

Weather: air temperature 13/18 °C, track temperature 15/24 °C. Variable with light rain in the early afternoon; windy.

Second day of testing this week for Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro, working again today at Vallelunga, on the outskirts of Rome.
On track today were Luca Badoer and Michael Schumacher. The Scuderia’s official test driver used an F2004 fitted with a regulated power V10, working on Bridgestone tyre development. The German drove the 248 F1, concentrating on development of new components and on an endurance test of the V8 power unit.
Badoer covered a total of 99 laps, setting a best time of 1’15”921; Schumacher did 127, the quickest in a time of 1’13”816.

Testing at this circuit continues tomorrow, once again with Badoer and Schumacher on track.
