‘Sunrise Avenue’ and ‘Monrose’ at
Oschersleben DTM round
One of the most successful newcomer bands all over Europe
– ‘Sunrise Avenue’ – is going to make
an ‘ARD-Chartshow’ appearance during the DTM weekend
held at the Motorsport Arena Oschersleben. The debut album
of the Finnish rock band, ‘On the Way to Wonderland’,
already made it to gold, in Germany, and the same applies
to the first single, \\\'Fairytale Gone Bad’, that sold
nearly 200,000 times. Currently, the track represents a true
long runner for every radio station.
When it comes to the second music act on the ARD stage you
have to talk about girl power. The new girl band ‘Monrose’,
the winners of the latest edition of ‘Popstars’,
the casting show of German TV station Pro7, interrupt their
current tour to truly rock the house for the Motorsport Arena
crowds.
The ‘ARD-Chartshow’ held on the big ARD stage
erected in the pit-lane will begin on Sunday, 06th May –
the race day – at about 12.30hrs. Afterwards, at 14.00hrs,
20 V8 engines will start roaring and the DTM cars will start
into the second round of the season (44 3.969-kilometre laps).
At the same time, Wolfgang Böhmer himself, Prime Minister
of Germany’s Saxony-Anhalt region, will be the event’s
patron
The ‘Sunrise Avenue’ and `Monrose’ concerts
on Sunday will be just the highlight of quite a bunch of attractions
provided on the DTM weekends around the race action. Attractions
such as the motorbike show of stuntman Rainer Schwarz at Sunday
noon or the programme of radio partner SAW presented by morning
show presenter Volker Haidt. Furthermore, the spectators again
will have the opportunity to enter the paddock and –
during the pit-walk – the pit-lane. In addition, there
will be interviews with the DTM drivers, autographing sessions,
the free fan paper ‘DTM News am Sonntag’ and far
more. Detailed information on the programme schedule will
be available on the movable walls of DTM’s tyre partner
Dunlop.
