ALICE TEAM BEGINS ITS ADVENTURE FROM JEREZ
Everything is ready for the beginning of the Alice Team 2008
season, the Italic-Hispanic Team who has signed an agreement
with Telecom Italia, will participate to the next two MotoGP
World Championships with Alice Colours, the brand used by
the Italian multinational for fast internet service. In Jerez
de la Frontera, at the UFO - VIP Village in the Spanish circuit
which will host, next march 30th, the first European round
of the 2008 season, has been unveiled the new Ducati Desmosedici
GP8 Sat livery which will be ridden by Spanish Toni Elias
and Frenchman Sylvain Guintoli. To welcome the new Alice Team,
Flippo Preziosi, Ducati Corse General Manager.
Excitement in Luis D’Antin’s words, Alice Team
General Director: “We are really happy to begin this
season with such a prestigious brand as Alice, this makes
us understand that our structure and MotoGP professionalism
is growing year after year and is attracting important brands.
We are also very happy to be able to continue to collaborate
with Ducati, thanks to them we will be aiming to improve last
year performances. Toni (Elias) and Sylvain (Guintoli) are
two young riders but without a doubt full of talent. We really
count on them.”
Young Spanish rider Toni Elias was very happy about the livery
of his new bike, declaring: “I think it’s a very
nice and catchy bike, I hope to obtain positive results during
the season with my new Ducati Desmosedici Gp8 Sat. I find
my self very well in the Alice Team, there is a lot of enthusiasm
and the Staff, which most of them are Spanish, is like a big
family and we work really well. In the first winter test I
had the possibility to learn more about the bike’s potential,
but now it’s time to step on the track for the serious
stuff.”
His teammate in the Alice Team, Frenchman Sylvan Guintoli,
has declared himself satisfied after the first few tests onboard
the Ducati Desmosedici GP8 Sat: “I am very happy to
begin this new season, we are working well, the Team is very
well integrated and the package at our disposal is incredible.
The bike is really powerful and Bridgestone tyres are performing
very good. From today all the riders will give their best
on the track and so we will, to bring the new Alice Team in
the top positions of the Standing.”
