ALEX
HOFMANN VISITS THE HOSPITAL OF LE MANS
Today, ALEX HOFMANN visited the Hospital of Le Mans with
other riders to meet and comfort children that were there
convalescing, giving them the chance to spend a day in a different
way. A nice experience for ALEX but also for all these children
that had the opportunity to know him, they really were enthusiastic
to meet their idol. ALEX talked a lot, in a very kindly way,
with these young patients of the various departments of the
hospital. He signed them autographs, made them some dedications
and pictures; all the children had a lot of fun, playing with
ALEX and asking him so many things, always in a very curious
way.
The PRAMAC D’ANTIN MOTOGP Team rider, ALEX HOFMANN,
declares “I spent a nice day, it has been a great sensation
to offer a smile to these children as they surely are spending
a quite sad period in hospital. Then, on Sunday, when they
will watch the races, I think they are going to be very proud
to be able to say that they met some of the riders that they
will see on television. On Sunday, I will also have a special
thought about them. As far as I’m concerned, I also
need to get used to the atmosphere of the hospital as I will
have to spend some time there after the GP of Valencia, to
remove the 16 screws and the 2 plates I have got in my foot
and my ankle, from the crash I had last year during the GP
of Japan.”.
The first sessions of free practice for the MotoGP class
on the Circuit of Le Mans will be tomorrow at 10 a.m
