Programme:
Today the team enjoyed the good weather conditions that made
for a dry track. Nick Heidfeld had a good day, covering numerous
laps and doing set-up work as well as a comparison between
tyre compounds. In the afternoon he completed several longer
runs for tyre evaluation. The team was happy with his test
results, whereas Robert Kubica achieved much less mileage
due to technical problems. Robert had started the day with
set-up work and got some positive results to build on, but
was then stopped by the aforementioned problems.
What comes next:
Tomorrow, Friday, Robert will run Chassis F1.07-02 and will
be joined by Sebastian Vettel, who will be driving Chassis
01 for the final day of testing in Valencia. After the bad
weather earlier this week, the team wants to catch up and
complete its programme for set-up work, systems and aerodynamics.
