Number of drivers participating: 20 (21 cars as Ferrari has two for Kimi Raikkonen)
Fastest lap overall: Lewis Hamilton (McLaren Mercedes ) 1:19.371 min

Robert Kubica Chassis / engine: BMW Sauber F1.07-04 / BMW P86/7 V8 Test kilometres today: 522 km (118 laps) Fastest lap: 1:20.487 min

Nick Heidfeld Chassis / engine: BMW Sauber F1.07-08 / BMW P86/7 V8 Test kilometres today: 411 km (93 laps) Fastest lap: 1:22.875 min

Programme: Nick Heidfeld was in the car for the second day running, while for Robert Kubica it was the first day of his three day test. Nick was again doing work with the 2009 specification Bridgestone slick tyres. The team also worked on the mechanical and aerodynamic set-ups for the car, as well as the development of the 2008 electronics. For the second day running the team was delighted with the amount of trouble free running and the positive results.

What comes next: Nick will be in the car for his third, and final day, while for Robert it will be his second day. The programme will be more of the same, with it being a continuation of today’s work.
