MUFF ON POLE.
Swiss rider Patric Muff continued his domination of Magny-Cours
today by taking pole position for tomorrow’s 10-lap
race. Muff’s quickest lap of 1:45.796 is nearly half
a second faster than Hungarian Gabor Rizmayer, with Emeric
Jonchiere third and series leader Dominic Lammert fourth.

The bike is working very well here today and the only big
problem I had was that many riders tried to follow me and
get good lap times. I am happy with my bike’s set-up
for the race and I am looking forward to a good battle with
my rivals. I have not been making good starts this season,
so maybe tomorrow will be different. But even if I do not
make a good start, there are many passing places here, so
it will not be a big problem. I want to have fun tomorrow
and end the season with a podium for sure.
