The Fifth Aikido World Championship Results.

Fifth Aikido World ChampionshipHistory was made at the Aikido World Championships this weekend when David Fielding, became Individual World Champion, the first non-Japanese Aikido player to win the ultimate combat title.

Fielding with team mates Danielle Jones and Mick Pratt then went on to become Mixed Team World Champions on what was a great night for British victory. (Full results at www.aikido-baa.org.uk)

Samurai warriors originally trained in Aikido - Sport Aikido is a combination of a dynamic sport and a powerful defensive Japanese's martial art.
