Fifth
Aikido World Championships 5-10 August 2003
An open invitation to Leeds
Dear Aikidoka
I have great pleasure in inviting you to the Fifth Aikido
World Championships and International Festival of Aikido.
This five day event will not only provide an opportunity to
practise and compete but will present a spectacular venue
to renew old acquaintances, make new friends and sample Yorkshire
hospitality.
This will be the first full international held outside japan
and is the first of the new two year cycle of events as agreed
by the Tomiki Aikido International Network.
To hold the event in Great Britain is a great honour for
the British Aikido Association and we shall do everything
in our power to make your stay enjoyable, exciting, interesting
and rewarding.
On behalf of the Association we invite you to England to
participate or watch the festival and competition and to see
England as you have never seen it before,
Bob Jones
